With all the extra security at UK airports due to the latest terror alerts (remember....be alert...Britain needs lerts!!) maybe it's time to rethink the way we travel by air?

I can fore see a time when passengers do not take any hold baggage with them when travelling, simply a small (see through) cabin bag.

Think about it:

• order you holiday/business trip clothing etc on line for collection at your destination. Sell back any major items and donate the rest to charity on your return.
• Airlines save a  fortune which can be passed on in lower fares!!!!!!!!!
• extra cargo for the airlines
• less hassle for the passengers including no baggage to get lost!

I think the idea is a winner!!
