The first goal of MARS is to provide the ability to book individual itineraries for groups and individuals from the product ranges that tour operator’s offer, thereby offering tailored bookings for each party. These include a centralised itinerary with the option of offering specific activities to individuals and sub groups.  For example, MARS allows some party members to book activities such as rock climbing whilst others are sailing or playing football.  Group members can book (extra cost) services such as excursions and enhanced insurance cover. Both group invoices and those for individuals can be produced.

Transport is a crucial aspect of most bookings, often this is mainly by coach. MARS allows multiple coaches to be booked and offers multiple pick up and drop off points to be set up. A range of coach types and sizes can be set up to meet each company’s requirements and individual seats can be pre assigned. Accommodation can be booked to ensure all the parties’ needs are catered for. Whatever the room type, bookings can be managed to allow for the organisers specific needs; such as same sex accommodation and friends requests to share!

The BIG difference with MARS is that the system allows on line bookings from a single source (i.e. you only setup data once). As it is a web browser based system tour operators can provide individual websites or access (as required) for organisers (such as schools) to view their own bookings and to make amendments on line.  This gives both your client and your own company much better control over bookings and improves service levels by improving communications!
