MACH ASSOCIATES LAUNCHES WEBOOKIT AT TRAVEL TECHNOLOGY SHOW
Complete control over on-line bookings from websites
Tour operators will be able to have complete control over their own websites
and save thousands of pounds by not having to go to their web design company or
travel systems house to make changes, thanks to 'Webookit', which was launched at
Travel Technology Show January 2006 by Mach Associates.
Webookit turns any 'on-line brochure' site into a live booking engine – and because
it is so straight forward to use the tour operator designs his own booking process,
saving time and money.
Set up the booking process by choosing from a library of ready made pages, save
it, and start taking bookings from your web page. Then because Webookit provides
statistics about people who have not completed a booking the operator can check
for bottlenecks in the process and amend it by moving pages or cutting out certain
steps.
This can be done in minutes, and, unlike traditional legacy systems, because Webookit
is linked to the flexible MARS reservation system, it will automatically take into
account any changes.
Webookit helps boost e-sales because:
- The operator has live control over the web booking process
- This can be changed at will for new products or buying trends
- There are no web re-design costs or extra system supplier bills
