Travel Industry Links
At Mach Associates we work closely with a number of key industry organisations who are helping to develop travel systems for the future.
We are proud to be playing our part in promoting open travel standards and are delighted to be working with some of the leading industry consultants who continue to recommend our systems.
Travel Technology Initiative www.tti.org
The Travel Technology Initiative (TTI) is a European industry user group that promotes the development and use of technology and business processes including open standards within travel, tourism and leisure. With a membership drawn from across the industry, TTI demonstrates that competing organisations can co-operate together for a common goal.
Since 1989, TTI has identified and delivered technology solutions in the search for open systems and shared benefits. As the travel and tourism industry continues to explore new technologies, TTI provides an essential forum for pan-industry progress through co-operation and the exchange of ideas.
Mach Associates is an Executive member of the TTI and participates in the generation of new standards. Recently we were involved in the generation of the new Ferry XML standards.
The OpenTravel Alliance www.opentravel.org
Welcome to the OpenTravelT Alliance (OTA). A self-funded, non-profit organization, OTA is comprised of major airlines, hoteliers, car rental companies, leisure suppliers, travel agencies, global distribution systems (GDS), technology providers and other interested parties working to create and implement industry-wide, open e-business specifications. These specifications form a common e-business language that will encourage development of systems to create new collections of services to better meet the demands and expectations of travelers and the travel industry.
